Frequently Asked Questions
When entering your PIN, you can type any random digits before and after your actual password. For example, if your PIN is 123456, you can enter 8912345672 — the lock extracts the correct 6-digit sequence and unlocks. This prevents observers from determining your actual code.
The semiconductor sensor reads sub-dermal fingerprint patterns, making it significantly more tolerant of moisture, oils, and minor contamination than optical sensors. Extremely wet or heavily soiled fingers may require wiping before scanning.
The Bluetooth app allows administrators to enroll and delete fingerprints, assign access permissions, and view entry logs. For buildings with multiple locks, centralized management is available through the cloud platform add-on.
The lock provides advance low-battery alerts. If batteries are fully depleted, emergency power through the Type-C USB port allows immediate access. A mechanical key override is also included.
